Boats in Lyons

The morning was dedicated to boat building. Students were asked to design a boat prototype. Once they had their prototype plan, they got busy building. After lunch, we hit the roads to Lyons. Students got to launch their boats and we timed their routes. They were then able to make modifications to improve their boat performance for a second race. It was a perfect Colorado spring day.
