Hello from Venice. We had smooth travel and did our best at trying to get some sleep on the plane. We landed in Venice around 1:00 p.m. and met our guide who took us by boat taxi to our hotel. We gave everyone two hours to freshen up, headed out for a late lunch, strolled around Venice, and did some sightseeing and shopping. We went to dinner and then called it an early night. We will be up early tomorrow to tour Doge Palace and St. Mark’s Square, with some exploring in the afternoon.
