What an amazing day. We were up at 6:30 a.m. We had breakfast at the hotel, then walked through the foggy Venice streets to catch the Vaporetto ferry to St. Mark Square, where we had a guided tour of the Doge’s Palace and St Mark Square. The sun was now out, so we took the ferry to Burano and explored this amazing little island and had lunch there. On our way back, we stopped by at St. Marks Square to explore a little more and then made our way back to our hotel to rest a little before dinner. Tomorrow we will take the train to Florence.
