Aloha families!

 

Our day two was packed with adventure in the water. We started with a kayak and snorkeling tour in Olowalu Reef just outside of our camp. We couldn’t have asked for nicer weather. After we had lunch at a local bakery, we headed to Iao State Monument, where we got to see some of the natural landmarks that were utilized by natives during the battle for control of the island. On this side of the island, we encountered light rain on our hike. We finished our evening exploring the downtown area and its array of food trucks and local music. Today, we will be driving the Road to Hana and exploring state parks.
