Maui

Aloha families! At the start of day 4, we had our first opportunity to volunteer on the island. We were fortunate to help a local community across the street from our camp site. The students spent the morning learning about the flora of the island while helping dig and till their land for their community garden. Following our hard work, we explored one of the towns on the north end of the island, Paia. We finished our day with a trip to the beach to unwind after a long day. Today, we will be headed to the Ocean Center to do some beach cleanup.
