On Tuesday, we cooked foods from North America and Europe. Each group got to work quickly and pushed to finish before we left for lunch. Highlights from North America included fried pickles with homemade ranch, arepas from Cuba, Mexican steak fajitas, and Guatemalan donuts. For lunch, we went to the Dushanbe Tea House in Boulder. They had all sorts of delicious teas and we enjoyed tasting different flavors while enjoying international foods. When we got back to school, we completed cooking from North America and started on our European cuisine. From Europe we made Polish pierogis, Italian strombolis, Greek moussaka, and French creme brulee. Overall, it was a very fun day, and we made and tasted lots of delicious food from around the world.
