Another lovely day in the Pacific Northwest. Today we visited the University of Washington and Seattle University. As you can see in the pictures, the cherry blossoms were in full bloom at the University of Washington, and half of Seattle was there to see them. That school provided a nice contrast to the University of Puget Sound. Just as beautiful, but much bigger, less personal, but big sports. It was great to see the kids’ reactions. Seattle University is a small Jesuit school in the heart of downtown Seattle. The kids liked the small classes there and access to faculty, as well as the urban environment. At the end of the day we drove down to Portland, which will be our base for the more southern schools.
